Star Wars visits
Laindon Park

Laindon Park Primary School was recently recognised as being in the top 4% of Primary Schools in the country, with results that are 22% above the national average students were called into a surprise assembly for a visit from Chewbacca and some Stormtroopers from the Star Wars saga!

The students (and staff) had no idea what would happen and were clearly beside themselves with happiness. The Stormtroopers and Wookie toured the school and inspected the student’s hard work that helped them gain such acclaim. The school was also visited by Iron Man himself, Tony Stark!

Congratulations to Laindon Park

Laindon Park Primary School and Nursery is happy to announce that the recently released national figures show the SAT results for the school were 22% above the national average.

Mrs Portoles, Headteacher at the school, said

‘Whilst we thought that last year’s results were outstanding, putting the school 17% above the national data, this year our pupils have not only maintained those exceptional results but exceeded them.  Our results this year for combined Writing, Reading and Maths are 87% compared to a national of 65%. These superb results reflect the children’s hard work, fantastic attitudes and resilience, outstanding teaching and of course, the unfaltering support of parents throughout the children’s time at the school’.
